Website design for restaurants

Restaurant websites that show the menu, hours, and how to order — first.

Most restaurant website traffic comes from a hungry person on a phone. They want the menu, the hours, the address, and either a phone number or an order button — in that order. Webzen builds and manages restaurant websites that put those first, then keeps the menu, hours, and specials current without you touching a CMS.

What your customers actually need

  • Today's hours (including holiday hours)
  • Menu — readable on a phone without pinching
  • Address with map and one-tap directions
  • Phone number that dials with one tap
  • Order-online button if you offer delivery or pickup
  • Reservation link if you take reservations

Common website problems in this industry

  • PDF menu that's slow, huge, and unreadable on a phone
  • Wrong hours because nobody updated them for a holiday
  • Reservation link buried three clicks deep
  • No mention of delivery apps you actually use
  • Google Business Profile out of sync with the website
  • Photos of the food that were taken with poor lighting

Recommended website structure

  • Home — hours, address, phone, order/reservation buttons, and a hero photo
  • Menu — real HTML text, not a PDF, organized by section
  • Location and hours — full week, plus holiday callouts
  • Order and reserve — deep links to your ordering and reservation partners
  • About — the story, the chef, the team (short)
  • Contact — phone, email, catering inquiries

Lead-capture systems that work here

  • One-tap phone call and directions in the mobile header
  • Reservation link that opens your reservation partner in one tap
  • Order-online button that opens your delivery/pickup partner
  • Catering-inquiry form for private events
  • Newsletter signup for specials (optional)

Trust elements that matter

  • Consistent hours, phone, and address on the site and Google
  • Real photos of real food
  • Named chef, owner, or family story
  • Honest allergen and dietary information where relevant
  • Menu prices that match the actual menu (updated as a standard update any time you change them)

Common services to feature

  • Dine-in service and reservations
  • Takeout and pickup
  • Delivery via major partners
  • Catering and private events
  • Gift cards
  • Weekly or seasonal specials

Recommended Webzen package

Webzen Launch ($599 setup + $79/month) or Growth ($1,299 setup + $129/month)

A single-location restaurant with a stable menu is a great fit for Launch. If you have multiple locations, catering as a real revenue line, or specials that change often, Growth is worth the step up for the extra pages, monthly updates, and Google Business Profile alignment.

Frequently asked questions from restaurants

Can you keep our menu updated?+

Yes. Standard content updates cover menu edits — pricing changes, new items, item removals, and section reshuffles. On Launch that's one update per month; on Growth it's two; Authority gets a monthly update plus a quarterly larger refresh.

Do you build the online ordering ourselves?+

We don't replace major ordering platforms. What we do is deep-link your existing ordering, reservation, and delivery partners so a customer taps one button and lands in the right place. If you don't have a partner yet, we recommend one during discovery.

Can you sync our Google Business Profile hours with the website?+

On Growth and Authority we align them: the site and the Profile show the same hours, address, and phone, and holiday hours are updated in both when you tell us they change.
